Kelly Gabriel Lee is a multidisciplinary writer and artist who enjoys uncovering evocative twists to historical and imagined narratives, often drawn from childhood dreams and traumas. His literary works have encompassed poetry, song lyrics, short stories, an almost-published novel, essays, and plays, while his ventures in the visual arts have included drawings, paintings, and installations, with exhibitions in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City.
Kelly’s latest creations include the plays LEAVING WONDERLAND and OUT FOR BLOOD: THE SEDUCTION OF BRAM STOKER. With irrepressible wit and a tongue-in-cheek sensibility, he alternately takes umbrage and delight in witnessing moments where personal/cultural differences and assumptions collide, hoping for greater truths to crawl out from beneath the wreckage.
